Assistant Plant Manager

As a result of business development, we are looking for an assistant plant manager for our busy readymix operation based at Longdowns. This vacancy is based at our depot in the Penryn area on a 42.5 hours per week as a permanent position. Experience within the industry would be an advantage, although training will be provided. Key to this role is an ability to understand and deliver excellent level of service to our customers.

Key Roles:

  • Support the plant manager in all aspects of operation of the plant
  • Customer call handling
  • Scheduling deliveries
  • Supervision and instruction of our employed drivers
  • Batching of readymix concrete
  • Adherence to company management systems
  • Basic plant maintenance

Production Operative - Uffculme

Due to continued expansion and recent investment, we have a vacancy for a production operative working on the day shift in our bagging division. This vacancy is based at our depot in the Uffculme area on a full-time, permanent position. Training will be given but experience in the below areas will be advantageous.
